The NY Times is fantastic for making this the cover of today's Sunday Magazine.
Congratulations and Thank You, because today you really are on it! @NYTOnit
"Inside the Campaign to roll back the Voting Rights Act."

Know how even my closest friends and family find the Voting Rights posts here are a big yawn(Zzzz)?
Well, my they're even more boring than I thought(Read me)! This is dangerous because few people understand the recent roll back of voting rights as well as this article describes it. Spoiler Alert: This article is pretty dense.
Long Story Short: Sections 4 and 5 of the Voting Rights Act have been obliterated.
The activist wing of the GOP is much more sophisticated(just take a look at the quite sensible sounding but obfuscatory editorials of the Wall Street Journal) than the GOP primary candidates now appear; but it is much, much more vicious. Former NC Justice Henry Frye sums it up:
In neutral language at the end of the article(often the punch line), Frye says at the bottom right of page 48,
"'Its not quite what it was a long time ago,' he said. Pondering for a minute he laughed and
added, 'It's much more sophisticated now." To read more on Henry Frye, see the site below.
